Which hair product do you use out of these: Pantene or herbal essences?

Most people said thy think these are the bset two options, so they've kinda convinced me on that, but which one is better and are there any types of each brand?Which hair product do you use out of these: Pantene or herbal essences?
herbal essences. it doesn't coat your hair in silcon or whatever pantene does. If you use pantene and dye/bleach/perm your hair, it really screws it up, the layer cracks or something. Mind you if you keep your hair natural i don't think it causes any problems, the layer just makes your look shiner and feel softer.


But since i am brutal on my hair, i use herbal essences. Plus it smells better :PWhich hair product do you use out of these: Pantene or herbal essences?
Personally I don't use either right now but i have in the past used both...I would say herbal essense is the best out of the two! right now though i use garnier fructus and I LOVE IT!!! i find it to be the best shampoo and conditioner that i have used...but i guess it depends on your hair type as well....but herbal essense out of the two!
I have used both %26amp; both are great! Dont get me wrong Pantene is good but I think Herbal Essences smells so much better. But thats just because im a girl %26amp; love to smell good! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

I use regular Pantene and it is a very good product.
Don't use any of them but pantene is supposed to be the best it's just had a new range come out

I use herbal essences and I love it. Makes my hair lovely and shiny. I used to use pantene but its like it puts a coating on hair.
Every hairstylist I've ever had told me not to use Pantene because it just coats your hair, which creates lots of buildup. Don't know much about Herbal Essences-I don't use it either.
I use herbal essences the one for colour treated hair.You should use one close to your hair type.
I use none. I like Treseme. But pantene is good.
I use the Pantene Pro-V clarifying shampoo. I have oily hair and it's the only thing that'll get it clean for 24 hours.
neither....i was told pantene is one of the top two worst products for people who color their hair (me) and my roommate recently got her hair cut and was told to stop using herbal essence because it clings onto your hair so bad.
i used to use pantene for a couple of years and thought it was the best .. then i had to buy herbal essence as it was all the shop that i was in stocked.. never went back to pantene! herbal essence leaves my hair so soft and shiney.. all my friends use it and say the same.. i wont use anything else! they have different ones for different hair types and all of them are good. If you have greasy hair, only put the conditioner on the ends of your hair.. enjoy!
I prefer Herbal Essenses because the smell is to die for. I also think their shampoos and conditioners for dry or damaged hair or coloured hair is really good as it still gives you volume and leaves the hair soft and shiny.





I leave it in my hair in the sauna/steam room at the gym after my workout and it's a fab way to repair and maintain your hair.
herbel essense definatley. it makes your hair so soft and smells great. Pantene does make your hair greasy. Another great hair product line is the garnier frutice. I use it and it is awesome.

When i worked in a Hairdressers. We were told that Pantene coats your hair rather than cleans your hair. Which is why you get a nice shine. Thats why they say it makes your hair look healthy. Rather than your hair is healthy.So i would go for Herbal Essence.





I personally use Kerastase, which i've found is the best. You can only buy it from hairdressers and it costs a bit more but last longer.

Niether! Drug store shampoos have high alcohol content and dry out your hair! You should purchase something at a salon!
I'm a Pantene girl. Great moisturizing conditioner for chemically treated hair. Herbal Essence tends keep MY hair a little too dry.
I use Pantenne always have always will. There is no better produst than the pantenne range.
They are both good but out of those I would choose Herbal Essences. I am the kind of girl who cannot stick with one thing I have to try something new every time I am currently using Bath and Body works Cherry Blossom It smells Sooo good. That is probably why I am leaning towards the Herbal Essences it smells really good.

right now am usin herbal essences cuz its smell lasts muucchh loger gr8 smell but ppl say pantene is better cuz it smoothes ur hair
