okay i am also african-american teenager and i previously had very bad dandruff for 4 years (7 yo until 11 yo). It was so serious to the point were i had to see a dermatologist because my pores we clogged with dandruff thingy's. Anyways, my doctor put me on a medication called derma-smooth..Let me tell you.. my dandruff has gone away so greatly. Please take this into consideration because the dandruff shampoo's and conditioner work but they will keep on making your dandruff come back again.
