at night im going to make my hair a little damp add the product and french braid it then in the morning Ill take the braids out which product would work better

You can put the mousse in but dont make your hair too wet or else it wont dry over night being braided.. The sprunch spray will definitely work better though, I use it. But make sure you blow dry it and run your fingers through it before after you take the braid out so your hair doesnt feel hard.
